Dig Two Graves Metalcore

Arising from Somerville, New Jersey, rock and metalcore band Dig Two Graves offer an enticing blend of bright ambience and heavy riffage. Their versatile charm allows them to appeal to a wide range of audiences.

Dig Two Graves sat down with The Outer Void:

What have you been up to during the pandemic?

Josh: Lifting heavy weights to make sad head voice go away.
Kenny: Been working a lot unfortunately but it looks like the world should be slowing going back to normal soon. Excited for shows again.

Has the lockdown impacted your songwriting this year in any way?

Josh: It should have ramped it up but I’m a lazy bastard.
Kenny: Don’t worry, we got plenty in the works.

What’s your favorite show you’ve ever played?

Kenny: We played a really cool show at Crossroads in Garwood, NJ. Sick venue and we had a rather large crowd.
Josh: I liked the show at Kingsland in Brooklyn. We were tight af.

If you could tour with any band/artist, who would it be?

Kenny: I’d love to do an Aussie tour with Make Them Suffer. That would be cash money.
Josh: Kero Kero Bonito easily.

What 2020 album would you recommend to someone who believes there’s no good new music?

Josh: I was looking through and found a bunch of favorites from 2019, but Straightener actually had a really good album called Applause, but DISCO4 :: Part 1 by Health was probably my favorite.
Kenny: I would say that too ^ Make Them Suffer dropped a pretty solid album as well.

What are your plans for 2021?

Josh: Millions of dollars, fame, and Endless Taco Tuesday at Grub Hut.
Kenny: I have to agree. Also if I could get a cat or two that would be sick.
