Dream State release new song “Hand in Hand”

The alternative rock and post-hardcore five-piece rising from South Wales, Dream State, have just finished recording their highly anticipated debut album. After their release of two solid EPs and touring with bands such as Neck Deep and The Amity Affliction, it’s safe to say this band has a bright future ahead of them. The new single they just put out, “Hand in Hand”, confirms that, being one of the strongest songs they have released yet, and making fans even more eager to hear their first full-length.

Upon announcing the release of the song on social media, the band stated that it was written as a response to the messages they receive from fans who are struggling emotionally and getting lost in dark mindsets. The sincerity in the lyrics makes this theme clear, with its epically ambitious chorus that sings, “I’ll be there when you’re done on the other side / Holding hands with the rest of us, fighting for our lives.” The genuine integrity of the vocal energy emphasizes every word, making it impossible to miss the meaning. The instrumentals back this beautifully, creating a fiery punch that knocks the pessimistic and defeatist thoughts out of you, replacing them with strength and motivation.

The band have yet to set a release date for their debut full-length, but until then, you can jam “Hand in Hand” along with their EPs, Recovery and Consequences, on Spotify and Apple Music.
