John Floreani of Trophy Eyes releases new solo track “Echoes”

Trophy Eyes frontman John Floreani has debuted his new song and video “Echoes,” off his upcoming solo album titled Sin. The 8-track debut album will be out on June 7th via Hopeless Records. Floreani’s solo project was originally called Little Brother, but he had to change it due to the name being taken by a rap group from North Carolina. “Echoes” is his first new release following the name change.

The song blends elements of indie pop and alternative rock, with a cinematic chorus and a soulful bridge that beautifully harmonizes Floreani’s voice with shimmering synths, heartwarming strings and soulful drums. As for the lyrical themes, Floreani has shared, “Echoes is about the memories, love and emotion one leaves behind in a home after moving on.” The music video features a romantic relationship between two men, which was inspired by Floreani’s friends and family who “have been told their whole lives that what they feel is wrong. Love does not know gender.

“Echoes” is available now on Spotify and Apple Music. Watch the video and check out the tracklist for Sin below.
